Friday, August 14; Started home Friday about 9:00 AM. Stopped at Orvieto and saw the cathedral there and the cloth relic. Camped at nice Platz in Bologna.

 Saturday, August 15; Went to mass (August 15) in Bologna and started to Venice. A long windy trip and pouring rain by the time we arrived at noon. Weather did clear up was beautiful. We walked into area for boats from the parking lot and took boat into town. What a beautiful city! We spent the afternoon there, didn’t leave until 6 PM. I hope to return some day. Threw our coins into Trevi Fountain in Rome so we may return!! Who knows?! It was raining on way back and so kept driving all night.
